One of the greatest advantages of the Hungarian Residency Bond Programme, that the new EU residents do not have to stay a minimum length of time in the country. In the other EU member states the participants of the Golden Visa programmes have to stay at least 183 days annual in the jurisdiction. So the new Hungarian residents can move freely inside the EU and the Schengen area, but have to maintain a Hungarian address. Let’s see how the residents can prove the existence of a place of housing in Hungary:

The existence of a place of housing in Hungary can particularly be proved with the following documents:
- a copy of the title deed that is no more than 3 months old, which proves the ownership of a residential dwelling - tenancy agreement/contract proving the rental act; - notarized statement ensuring proper housing for the applicant, made by a family member residing in Hungary; The third country national submitting his/her application for a Hungarian permanent residence permit should inform the authority about the establishment of his/her first place of housing in the country at the time of submitting his/her application, in case he/she hasn’t had a Hungarian place of housing yet. To inform the authority about the establishment of his/her first place of housing in the country, the third country citizen shall prove his/her right to dispose or use the property with all necessary official documents. The part for the domicile notification (“E” form) of the application form shouldl be signed by the applicant, as declarer, as well as the owner of the property and/or the person entitled to use the property in other way, as host. The document certifying housing conditions shall not be required to be attached if it has been already attached during the application procedure for the issuance or extension of residence permit and the place of housing of the third country national has not been changed and equal to the future place of housing.
