Paraguay Permanent Residency by Investment (SUACE) Program

Paraguay became a hotspot for location-independent professionals and businesspeople who wanted to operate in MERCOSUR.

Why get a residency permit in Paraguay?

Paraguay is a stable and friendly small country in the middle of South America. It has developed very quickly and offers the lowest taxes on the continent. Paraguay follows the territorial tax structure, meaning foreign-sourced income is tax-free. However, Paraguay is not an offshore location; it is a member of all essential tax agreements and is always white-listed regarding international tax compliance issues. The country is beautiful, and the cost of living is more affordable than in neighbouring Brazil and Argentina.

Paraguay offers two options for applicants who wish to become residents of the South American country.

Applicants who do not need a visa can become permanent residents of Paraguay and permanent residents two years later. The simplified process is valuable for the citizens of the developed countries, especially when it comes to agreements with the Paraguayan Government.

The residency by investment option is for applicants who need a visa or want to become permanent residents without a temporary two-year period. The SUACE residency by investment program aims to register companies and create jobs. The minimum investment amount is 70,000 USD. However, it is not a direct investment; you will have three years to spend the minimum amount or more on your business.
